vs. Rumensin Experiment 1:
University of Nebraska, 1995
The trial consisted
of 92 British cross
steers randomly allotted into two groups and fed 119 days until slaughter.
The control group received
the basal ration plus 325 g/ton or Rumensin and 125 g/ton of Tylan.
The test group received the basal
ration plus 2 lb./ton of MSE. The basal ration consisted
of 10% corn silage, 82.5% cracked
corn
7.5% dry pelleted supplement. Research
was conducted
by the University of Nebraska,
1995. Statistical
differences are noted below..
