vs. Rumensin Experiment 2:
University of Nebraska, 1996
The following trial consisted of 108 head of 800 lb. Charlais
crossbred steers randomly allotted into 12 pens of 9 head, and fed for 139
days. One group received the basal ration plus Rumensin and Tylan
(control), while another group received the basal ration plus MSE (test
group). The basal diet consisted of 53.64% dry rolled corn, 28.86% high
moisture corn, 10.05% corn silage, and 7.45% supplement.
