MSE PERCEPTIN
SPECIAL CALMING FORMULA FOR ALL ANIMALS
(Available in either 1 lb. bags
or 4 lb. jugs)

MSE Perceptin is a psychobiotic that is specially formulated to
reduce the perception of stress in all livestock. It combines proven
psychobiotic microbial species and a proven non-microbial
ingredient. The combination is more effective than either ingredient
given alone. One teaspoon of Perceptin will provide twice the
microbes in MSE Dry Microbial Concentrate and 1 g of the
non-microbial ingredient. Animals not on MSE already should be
allowed to adapt to this more concentrated product over a two week
period. That means that animals should receive reduced levels of MSE
Perceptin over a two week period prior to scheduled stressful
activities such as weaning, shearing, transport and/or showing.
Diarrhea can result if the full dose is given without adaptation.
Alpacas: 1 gram (about 1 teaspoon) per head, may be increased for
severe stress. For pig diets: 1 lb./ton, may also be added to water
for dosing piglets during weaning/processing. 1gr per piglet in
enough water for dispenser. For cattle: One lb./ton. Recommended
mixing with water and giving during receiving at feedlot. 454 g/lb.,
mix as many grams as animals to be treated in water for 1 g doses.
IMPORTANT! Animals on full dose may act lethargic, this is not a
symptom of illness. MSE Perceptin works best in stressed animals,
there may not be any observable change until the animal is stressed.
One teaspoon of MSE perception provides about 13 Billion CFU and one
gram of the non-microbial ingredient. One teaspoon/day will help
reduce anxiety for mild and moderate stresses. Double the dose for
severe stresses AS LONG AS THE NIMAL HAS BEEN ADAPTED. Cost per dose
is $0.044/g. Ingredients: A patented blend of Lactobacillus
acidophilus, L. casei, Streptococcus faecium, Bifidobacteria sp.,
and Saccharomyces cerevisiae, plus l-tryptophan.
Recommended dosage
Cattle, pigs, chickens - 1 lb./ton
May also be added to water at 1 g (roughly 1 teaspoon) per animal
for manual dosing (weaning, processing, receiving)
IMPORTANT: The full dose of MSE Perceptin may make animals appear
lethargic, this is NOT a symptom of illness.
NOTE! All animals should be brought up to the full dose SLOWLY,
preferably over a two week period. Start with a much smaller dose and work up
to recommended amount.
